Description
This theodolite is a mechanical-optical measuring instrument manufactured by Compañía Rossbach de México, S.A, model 532 R, serial number: 74962. It consists of a tribrach with three screws that rest on a tripod to which it is fixed by means of a tripod. an “ad hoc” screw; an azimuthal limb, which is a circle graduated from 0° to 360° or 0° to 400° in a direct clockwise direction; one azimuthal limbus fixation screw, placed radially; a screw of small movements placed tangentially, and an alidade, which is the mobile upper part of the theodolite that rotates around the main axis containing an astronomical telescope.
