Palma de matachin
It is made up of strips of reed, which are assembled to take the shape of a cross; They are finished at their ends with multicolored rooster feathers where red, blue, green and yellow stand out. It represents the shield of the soldier known as "soldier of the Virgin". The dancer carries it in his left hand; he makes the sign of the cross in the air at the beginning, middle and end of the dance; during the realization he marks the rhythms and different movements that have to be executed.
