Description
Plaque commemorating the inauguration of the Yaquis Ethnic Museum on August 15, 1985. Made of bronze, it commemorates the moment when this cultural venue opened its doors for the first time, which was located until 2005 on the ground floor of the Municipal Public Library in Ciudad Obregon. Its creation as a new cultural institution is found in Decree 273 "That creates the Museum of the Yaquis" approved by the H. Congress of the State of Sonora in the session of July 19, 1985.
