The diorama stages the procession (konti) that are held on Friday's during Lent. This diorama depects the community of Pótam, the second largest community of the Yaqui towns. The rites of the Fridays of Lent begin with prayers in the church, in which all the authorities participate, immediately afterwards, the konti (procession) begins, in which stops are made at each of the temporary crosses to represent the seasons of the Way of the Cross. The konti done on Friday's during Lent are counterclockwise, while on Glory Saturday it is clockwise. The extension of the route in some communities is so great that it covers practically the entire town (Mesri and Carlón, 2019).
