Description
This collection of carved scalpel stones were shaped by abrasion. They are instruments used in the fleshing, part of the tanning process where the fats and meats that still remain attached to the inner part of the skin are separated. Due to the sharpness of this stone, its usefulness can be for various purposes such as: cutting bone, leaves or wood.
